What Type of Shampoo should I use for Bleached Hair
Always use sulfate free shampoos or condition type washes for natural hair. Most importantly you will have to shampoo and rinse you locs well. I wrote about how I use rice water to strength my locs.
- Keep clean and thoroughly dry. Microfiber towels absorb water well. Use very little heat in hair. Cover hair with umbrellas, hats and scarves to protect from too much sun exposure.
- Moisturize scalp and spray moisturizers onto locs.
- Cover with plastic cap two hours a day; twice weekly or more with moisturizers.
- Always sleep with locs covered and protected.
- Never use tight styles
